By Board Decision no. ÖN/11973-3/05721, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has granted a pre-licence for our Ottoman Solar Power Plant project in Siverek, Şanlıurfa.
Solar generation with storage
The project combines a solar power plant of 35 MWe with an integrated energy storage facility. Storage will allow energy generated during the brightest hours to be held and supplied to the grid when it is needed.
Next steps
The pre-licence period is used to complete the permits, land and connection processes required before a generation licence can be issued. Ottoman GES is the largest solar project in our portfolio and a key step in growing the share of solar energy in our generation.
