The second and third turbines at our Orhanlı Wind Farm in Hatay have entered commercial operation following acceptance by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. With these two units adding 6 MWe, the plant is now generating at its full installed capacity of 12 MWm / 9 MWe.
Three ENERCON turbines
The plant runs three 4 MWm ENERCON E-126 EP3 turbines, each with a 127-metre rotor and an 86-metre tower. The first unit came online in December 2020, after construction began in 2019.
Our first wind farm
Orhanlı is the first wind plant in our portfolio, which already includes hydroelectric, solar and biogas generation. The plant operates under generation licence EÜ/3860-2/2338 issued by EPDK for a term of 49 years.
