By Board Decision no. 11204-10 dated 15 September 2022, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) approved our request to increase the project capacity of the Orhanlı Wind Farm in Hatay from 12 MWm / 9 MWe to 17.56 MWm / 14.569 MWe.
A fourth turbine added to the licence
With the decision, a 5.56 MWm / 5.56 MWe turbine (T4) has been added to the plant's generation licence. The new turbine will be installed at the existing site and use the plant's existing grid connection.
The capacity increase is a step towards making fuller use of the strong wind potential in the region. Permitting and planning for the new turbine will continue in the coming period.
