As published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette no. 11203 dated 8 November 2024, Damlapınar Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Hidro-D Hidroelektrik Enerji Üretim A.Ş., Ortaçağ Enerji Üretim A.Ş. and Yüceyurt Enerji Üretim Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. have merged into Elestaş Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., which took over the companies as a whole.
A simpler structure
With the merger, hydroelectric plants that were previously held by separate companies are now operated directly by Elestaş. The generation licences of Çobanlı, Araklı 1, Ortaçağ and Manahoz HES were amended in Elestaş's name by EPDK on 26 December 2024.
Bringing the plants under a single company simplifies management, reporting and financing, and gives a clearer picture of our generation portfolio.
