Elestaş Electricity Generation Inc. was established in 2003 in Istanbul to operate in the energy market. In its early years, our company aimed to meet its partners' electricity needs and quickly expanded its production capacity, offering surplus energy to the market.
Prioritizing environmentally friendly and renewable energy sources, Elestaş Electricity has adopted the principle of meeting the group's energy needs from non-polluting sources. With this understanding, we operate in four distinct areas: "Electricity Generation," "Electricity Sales and Trade," "Construction and Operation of Power Plants," and "Organic Fertilizer Production and Sales."
With our sustainability-focused approach, we aim to strengthen resource diversity by increasing the share of renewable resources in our production portfolio. We continue our efforts to utilize Turkey's domestic and renewable energy potential in the most efficient way and contribute to its economic growth.
Our investment areas include solar, wind, hydroelectric, and biogas energy. We currently have nine hydroelectric power plants, one wind power plant, and six solar power plant projects under our belt. Our total licensed capacity is 137.72 MWm / 129.933 MWe.
Our production is certified by internationally recognized I-REC, VCS, and Gold Standard carbon certificates. At Elestaş Elektrik, we continue our investments with our vision of leaving clean energy for the future.
