Elestaş Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. was founded in 2003 in Istanbul with the aim of operating in the energy market. Initially, Elestaş Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. aimed to meet the electricity needs of its shareholders and later sell the excess energy produced to the market. By prioritizing environmentally friendly renewable energy sources in the energy market, the company aimed to obtain the energy used by the group from sources that do not pollute the environment.
Elestaş Elektrik operates in four different fields: "Electricity Generation," "Electricity Sales and Trading," "Construction and Operation of Power Plants," and "Organic Fertilizer Production and Sales." Adopting the principle of carrying out projects that contribute to sustainability in all aspects, our company aims to diversify its resources by increasing the share of renewable sources in its production portfolio. Elestaş Elektrik continues its efforts to contribute to the economy by making the most efficient use of Turkey's domestic and renewable energy sources. Our company invests in areas such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, and biogas energy. Currently, we have nine hydroelectric power plants, one wind power plant, and six solar power plant projects. Our total licensed capacity is 137.72 MWm / 129.933 MWe. We hold I-REC, VCS, and Gold Standard Carbon certificates for our productions.
